After the huge
After the huge success of the Prescribing Lifestyle Medicine course earlier this year in Manchester, Prescribing Lifestyle Medicine Organisation are so excited to announce that there will be another one-day masterclass in the new year. This is not to be missed!
About the course
Focusing on our biological systems rather than symptoms, Prescribing Lifestyle Medicine offers NHS GPs and interested clinicians from other specialities, a new set of immediately implementable, safe tools which will increase job satisfaction and reduce prescribing costs.
For years we have tried to identify a course that “puts it all together” – not just the science behind lifestyle medicine but more importantly how to apply it with clinical confidence and precision beyond basic dietary and exercise advice, in a typical clinical time frame. The course is also relevant to clinicians themselves. We are concerned about the current landscape of healthcare not only for patients but also the wellbeing of clinicians which is just as important to us.
Prescribing Lifestyle Medicine (RCGP accredited) introduces a unique easy-to-use framework that is applicable to NHS GPs using a standard ten-minute appointment system.
6 CPD Points accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP)

You’ll work harder, longer hours, they’re highly unforgiving, they only care about money, and let’s face it – that’ll be the end of your career as a doctor”
That’s probably not the only apocalyptic sermon you’ve heard from other doctors who have only ever worked in the public sector; designed to put others off from having any life or experience beyond it.
For a considerable time, the perception has been that working in the private sector is just plain BAD and generally means you’ve sold out if you’re a doctor taking the leap.
.. that is, unless you’re a Consultant, in which case it’s perfectly ok – as long as you do a day or so in the NHS per week.
With this topic becoming highly political, especially in recent times, have you ever been confused by this and unsure about what the real differences are between the two and how this could affect your own career decisions?
If so, join the FIRST EVER live informative live webinar which addresses this very issue head on – enabling you to make an informed decision in your next career move.
We compare the following in several areas including;
Clinical and Non-Clinical Jobs
Getting things (you want) done
Featuring doctors who have worked in both private and public sectors including our very own Medic Footprints Founder – Dr. Abeyna Bubbers-Jones – enjoy a somewhat less biased viewpoint to inform your plans for 2020 and beyond.
As our first webinar of 2020 you can watch it LIVE for FREE if you register.
*Please note that in registering for this webinar, you will be added to the Medic Footprints community list and informed about relevant information on alternative careers & wellbeing for doctors. You can leave the list at any time. If you wish to register for this event but not join the community list, please email us at email@example.com
