Intensive Care Society: Wellbeing Resource Library

A fantastic poster series aiming to improve our understanding of psychological wellbeing at work, the impact of reduced wellbeing and what we can do in response. One of the most popular evidence based mindfulness apps, Headspace are offering free subscriptions to NHS workers until December 31st 2020.

 

Unmind

A workplace mental health platform that empowers staff to proactively improve their mental wellbeing. It uses scientifically-backed assessments, tools and training, allowing you to measure and manage your own mental health needs. It contains programmes designed to help with stress, sleep, coping, connection, fulfilment and nutrition. Free access to NHS staff until the end of Dec 2020. 

Sleepio & Daylight

Sleepio is a clinically-evidenced, highly personalised sleep improvement programme, using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help improve your sleep. Daylight also uses CBT to help people experiencing symptoms of worry and anxiety. Both free access for NHS staff until end of Dec 2020.

Coronavirus Wellbeing Support for Doctors

A small friendly group we run focused purely on wellbeing support for doctors during the COVID-19 crisis. With resources, advice, stress relief and wellbeing support – supported by The Joyful Doctor’s Caroline Walker and Rachel Morris. Also a great place to get Occupational Health support if you’re struggling to access your own OH.

COVID-19 Doctors Group UK

Run by the Doctors Association UK (DAUK), this group is a safe space for doctors to share their learning on COVID-19 and air their concerns and frustrations. Currently an extremely busy group with over 8k members.

COVID Returning Doctors Group

A new dedicated group for doctors looking to return to the NHS to support the Coronavirus Crisis. They also welcome doctors who are being redeployed to the front line from non clinical specialities.
