The Abeyna Inkanyezi Leaders Pathway is a selective, subsidised 12 month program & movement for ambitious and mission driven early-stage doctors ready to step into venture building and leadership under the direct mentorship of Dr Abeyna Jones — alongside a fast-growing global ecosystem of doctors and industry leaders.
Why Inkanyezi?
Inkanyezi means “star” in Zulu. I chose it because of my own roots of growth, when I took the leap to work in South Africa as a trauma surgeon, questioning my own career path in medicine.
That was my moment of looking up, seeking direction, and choosing a new constellation for my future. Inkanyezi represents guidance, courage, and transformation.

What You’ll Commit To
- Take full responsibility for your growth and career trajectory
- Monthly in-person meetings in London
- 5 hours/month supporting projects (events, pods, content) – remote or in person
- Sharing your journey openly online and as a case study and future mentor
The Pathway Is Simple

Eligibility
- Medical student or ≤3 years post-graduation
- Age 30 or under
- UK or Ireland-based
- Able to travel to central London monthly
- Able to invest £5,500 now in your growth
- Growth mindset and action-oriented
- Value faster pathways to growth through investing in networks
