Many of us are still practicing doctors, therefore we aim to maintain the same ethical standards in business as we do in our clinical practice.
In order to continue to run Medic Footprints independently so we can bring the global medical community the best unadulterated content; like all companies, we need to ensure we can pay our bills!
Therefore we use several ways to generate money to ensure we can continue running which include;
Advertising and marketing (e.g. jobs, events, services)
Premium Membership Fees
Running our own events
Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is a popular way for websites to generate income through recommendations.
We tell you about something we recommend or have used, we link to the product (e.g. a book or course), and then you decide whether to buy.
If you buy, we will usually receive a predetermined cut of the final cost of your product, at no extra cost to you. How much we receive varies widely.
We decide what to promote based on our own personal experiences of the product. This may be books we’ve read, courses we’ve attended and so forth.
We never review products offered to us for free in exchange for a favourable review.
We may even mention a product or service unfavourably and link to it – you may even decide you want to go ahead and buy it.
We work with many other affiliate companies – some like Skimlinks, may not always be as obvious.
We are also quite picky about what content we put on our site – not everything that’s suggested makes the cut!
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Once vetted, career coaches featured on this page pay a small contribution towards the costs of marketing of their services and featuring on this site. However Medic Footprints does not receive any additional payment if you choose to work with a coach we’ve listed on our site.
We will do our best to notify you on the page before you’re sent off to an external site, however if you have any queries about any links or services please don’t hesitate to contact us and ask!
