Are you looking to further develop your portfolio of skills in medical education?

Bromley Emergency Courses is looking for you to join our faculty of teaching doctors!

Who we are

Bromley Emergency Courses has been delivering high quality medical training in South East London for over 15 years.

Based near London Bridge, most of our faculty are working doctors who teach on a few days off each year, although a small number teach on several days each month. The faculty range from quite junior doctors with a particular area of interest or skill to experienced consultants from a range of specialties. We also have five staff who run the company, two of whom are doctors.

I am passionate about ultrasound and teaching ultrasound for Bromley Emergency gives me the opportunity to engage other clinicians with the use of ultrasound as a point-of-care device in managing patients. Personally, it helps build my teaching skills as well as consolidate my ultrasound knowledge. — Fiqry

What we do

We deliver about 80 short face-to-face courses each year from our base near London Bridge.

We focus principally in three areas:

1) FRCEM examinations (Primary, Intermediate, SJP, MRCEM OSCE, Final SAQ and Final OSCE),

2) Ultrasound (PoCUS) and

3) PLAB 2.

We have a large online teaching programme also.

Bromley Emergency has helped in my professional development by giving me access to the latest portable ultrasound equipment and a great team of enthusiastic staff to work with. It’s been useful to meet and learn from other experienced faculty from various Trusts. Teaching junior doctors is always rewarding and the sessions are structured very well to give them the most out of the day.– Katie

Working with Bromley Emergency is a unique opportunity for anyone keen to be part of medical education. Teaching for the PLAB 2 course has given me an opportunity to give back the knowledge and work experience to international medical graduates that I gained after being part of the same route to get registered with the GMC. Professionally, it has helped me keep my core skills of medical examination and approach to patients updated. Would definitely recommend it.– Anju
