Virtual Doctors are a UK based charity that offer telemedical support to 140 rural health centres in Zambia and Malawi through a smart phone app.

With the emergence of COVID 19, fragile rural health systems are under huge strain and we are aiming to upscale our operations.

In order to do this we need more volunteer doctors. All specialties are welcome!

We appreciate that this is a busy and challenging time for everyone, however the way in which our setup works means that you can volunteer to answer cases alongside NHS or other work.

Typically a volunteer will get 1 or 2 cases each week, which tend to take around 15 minutes to answer.

If you are self isolating, shielding or working from home then this could be ideal for you!

You must have active GMC registration and ideally have your CCT.

If you are approaching CCT, are a senior registrar or have relevant experience working in low and middle income countries, then please also get in touch as you may be able to get involved.

If you are interested, please express your interest through the website below. (CV optional)
