The Medic Footprints Team are looking for a creative, social media savvy doctor or medical student to join us as a Social Media Team Partner

We have highly ambitious plans for the organisation and growing medical community in the coming year and beyond. 

This includes providing ongoing support to doctors in our UK and Malaysia hubs, as well as internationally. We will also be building on relationships with organisations and companies who recruit or engage with doctors.

In order to achieve this we will be upping our game across our social media channels, building on the quality of our content and increasing our engagement with our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing our social media strategy
  • Social media content creation
  • Overseeing client social media commitments
  • Maximising our social media presence and building on engagement
  • Analysing our social media stats and insights
  • Sourcing new leads on social media
  • Interaction with clients on social media

The Person

  • Passionate about social media with an already established social media presence
  • Preferably a current or previous doctor or medical student – understanding and representing the voice of our medical community
  • Ability to create engaging social media content 
  • Analytical with an eye for detail
  • Awareness and/or demonstrated ability on building a social media presence
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Team player, though able to work independently and remotely
  • Accessible and reliable
  • Can work flexibly
  • Tech savvy – in addition to frequenting our social media channels (particularly Facebook & IG), you will be expected to use an array of our other cloud based management systems such as Hubspot, GSuite, Slack and Notion.

Commitments

This role requires a minimum commitment averaging 8hrs per week.. The work is usually performed flexibly throughout the week (determined by you!), however does need to be completed in a timely manner. For example, being highly responsive to messages on social media.

Frequent attendance at weekly team meetings (virtual) – currently held on a Tuesday lunchtime.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on previous experience and abilities . This role will also have a commission-based element for opportunities found on social media.

We’re all very open and down to earth individuals, having negotiated through our own career path challenges. Many of us are practicing doctors with portfolio careers boasting a mix of both clinical and non-clinical experiences. 

We remain passionate about using our experiences to support the medical community and advise organisations that work with them.
