This is a unique dual role with two fundamental areas of responsibility as Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the UK and EU markets as well as Medical Director for the Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) on site at Perspectum Headquarters.

As MSL, reporting to the Director of Medical Affairs, you will be responsible for building partnerships with external healthcare professionals to communicate evidence-based clinical, scientific, and technical information relating to Perspectum’s products and relevant clinical areas. You are someone with extensive experience in clinical practice and research, and who can clearly communicate technical, scientific and clinical value concepts. You will work as part of the wider Medical Affairs team to collect and disseminate feedback from healthcare professionals, medical societies and other relevant sources for internal research, development and commercial teams to inform product development and delivery.

As CDC Medical Director you are responsible for managing governance and compliance within the facility and other general radiologist duties. Reporting to the VP, European Clinical Operations you will advise and provide medical cover to the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and perform radiology reporting and support tasks.

This role would suit a radiologist, ideally one with operational experience.


About the role

As this role is a dual split we are keep to receive full time (to cover both areas) or part time candidates who will specialise either as MSL or Medical Director. Duties will include:

CDC Medical Director:

  • Maintain an active GMC registration and registration on the specialist register for Radiology and provide general radiological advice, leadership and clinical oversight to the Community Diagnostic Centre.
  • Provide medical cover when onsite.
  • Provide general radiological duties, including clinical reports for standard of care and for research scans, vetting, audits and other related duties.
  • Chair the Integrated Governance Board and respective governance committees.
  • Provide overall clinical leadership for the CDC.
  • Participate in management meetings and represent the CDC and Perspectum in service review meetings with OUH (Oxford Universities Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust).



  • Build partnerships with external healthcare professionals and communicate evidence-based clinical, scientific, and technical information relating to Perspectum’s products and relevant clinical areas.
  • Disseminate clinical and scientific insights from external healthcare professionals and other relevant sources to internal stakeholders within the organization.
  • Develop strong and productive working relationships with KOLs in the fields of Radiology, Hepatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and other areas of interest.
  • Participate actively at regional and national conferences in Radiology, Hepatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and other areas of interest. Contribute to conference planning, scientific session coverage and development of post-conference reports.
  • Present abstracts/posters and other related medical content at regional and national meetings when applicable.
  • With oversight from the Chief Innovation Officer and the Director of Medical Affairs provide support to unsolicited investigator-sponsored research proposals as well as Perspectum-sponsored research.
  • Participate in preparation and delivery of training materials to support new and existing customers on diagnostic imaging in radiology and emerging clinical evidence.
  • Provide medical expertise and support to projects led by Medical Affairs and other cross-functional projects, such as advisory boards, educational activities, clinical study support as necessary.


About You

You will be an experience consultant and be a GMC registered medical doctor. You will have demonstrable experience of participating in and managing various governance aspects in a radiology department as well as ability to engage health care professionals with effective medical and scientific communication. Your skills will include:

  • Ability to establish strong, collaborative working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with clinical Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, creative and independent approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Organised, efficient, high-energy, willing and able to travel from time to time.
