Medical Director UK & Ireland (f/m/d)

In this role you will have the opportunity to shape the future of Medical Affairs in the UK & Ireland. Your leadership will be instrumental in building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, driving product success across multiple therapeutic areas and developing innovative strategies to navigate the dynamic pharmaceutical landscape.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like

  • Responsibility for Medical Affairs in UK & Ireland
  • Line Management of UK MSLs
  • Local Safety Officer (with additional responsibilities)
  • Oversight of Medical Affairs in Region North
  • Establishing marketing and medical strategies for the local market
  • Managing and providing medical input to reimbursement strategies in UK & Ireland
  • Oversight of Market Access Strategies in Region North
  • Analyzing the market for new product launch opportunities within Region North
  • Being responsible for launched and pre-launch products in different therapeutic areas
  • Providing ongoing medical support and product training to KAMs
  • Building relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders, patient groups and professional organizations
  • Monitoring clinical trials and product feedback in the market
  • Involving in medical events as a speaker
  • Working cross functionally with local and HQ functions

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Medical or Pharmacy University degree
  • Successful completion of the ABPI examination
  • Established track record as medical final signatory
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a in a medical function in a pharmaceutical company
  • Previous product launch and Market Access experience within UK and Ireland
  • Experience in product evaluation for new business development opportunities
  • Energetic person, project and success-orientated
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
