Your Responsibilities

A Medical Advisor will provide medical and scientific expertise to the company and its international partners. As a cross-functional role, the Medical Advisor will work closely with other departments such as sales and marketing to provide specialist knowledge and operate in a commercial manner to support the business and its products globally.

• Contribute to and deliver clinical research & clinical trial strategy for ADM Health & Wellness.
• Contribute to the successful publication of all clinical research using ADM products and the dissemination of the results in line with business strategy.
• Provide medical expertise in the review of adverse events reporting and in the development of safety dossiers across product lines.
• Keep abreast of relevant industry and scientific information.

International

• Provide training and education for international partners and groups of healthcare professionals including doctors and pharmacists.
• Work closely with international sales managers to maintain partner relationships and awareness/knowledge of competing products.
• Represent ADM at conferences/congresses on a global level, including giving presentations and chairing seminars.
• Work with Regulatory to provide input to registration dossiers tailored for specific territories.
• Review & develop clinical trial protocols with international partners.
• Develop relationships with KOLs in each territory.

UK Specific

• Work closely with marketing team to communicate the benefits of the company’s brands: Includes presenting at press days, meeting with relevant health journalists and providing expert comment where necessary.
• Write scientific articles for journals and newspapers ranging from consumer magazines & national newspapers to medical & scientific journals.
• Review & develop clinical trial protocols with CROs and research centres.
• Provide training for internal sales and support staff.

Your Profile

• Qualified medic with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
• Post qualification speciality membership (MRCP, MRCS, MRCGP etc.) favourable.
• Industry experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Full driving licence and passport, and be flexible to travel internationally on a regular basis.
