We are therefore delving into our own networks of talented doctors to find a crucial new member of the team who will help to see through our ultimate mission of:

Dramatically elevating health outcomes in the world by connecting 1 million doctors with the best in diverse career opportunities by 2030.

The role

This role has both breadth and depth – enabling you to fully explore and realise your skillsets in the commercial world – with doctors at the very heart of it all!

You will be working very closely with Dr. Abeyna Bubbers-Jones, the Founder and her team to help galvanise and grow the impact of our brand – particularly amongst industry.

The role is a comprehensive mix of operational, business development, client based work and doctor community management.


Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Working with and on behalf of the Founder to manage client projects, conduct sales and generate new client leads
  • Identifying and nurturing impactful industry partnerships
  • Contribute towards developing new services for doctors
  • Solidify our operations and processes
  • Early project management for our new tech platform including securing external funding for this
  • Participation and hosting for live in person or online events – including our podcast!


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a doctor who is ready to grow into a leader with a view to serve doctors exploring alternative careers across the world.

We want you to grow with us.

We don’t expect you to be the finished article at this stage or have prior experience working for a similar company (not that there are many about..!)

We simply want to see evidence of clear motivation, ambition and willingness to learn whilst subscribing to our mission, culture and values.


Important attributes we need you to have:

  • UK based medical doctor who has completed at least 2 years of postgraduate medicine (e.g. post F2)
  • Established personal network of doctor colleagues in the UK
  • Social media savvy – particularly Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram
  • Global thinker – what exists beyond our bubble?
  • Creative and pragmatic
  • Desire to work closely on a consultative level with both doctors moving into diverse careers and the high level clients we connect them with
  • An avid connector of people or excited about what can be created with great partnerships and relationships
  • Thinks autonomously as well as in a team setting
  • Process driven
  • Flexible in ways of working – can do so alone, and in teams online
  • Experience in project management in any area of life
  • Startup / entrepreneurial mindset with a reasonably higher risk tolerance compared to clinical practice
  • Driven by our global overarching vision

The doctor in this role will be trained to progress into a formal leadership position within our organisation in the near future.

This role may suit those who:

  • have decided not to pursue or continue with specialty training
  • may be locuming flexibly or working in clinical medicine on other days part time
  • exploring a move to industry
  • have already left medicine altogether
  • developing a portfolio career


Work arrangements

This role is 98% remote with some very occasional requirements to attend in-person client meetings which are mostly in central London.

To start, we will need you to work 3 days per week or the equivalent of 24hrs per week between Monday – Friday with well defined availability with the period of 9am – 6:30pm UK time.

You will be working with a small team based in the UK and Malaysia. Day to day you will communicate with up to 3 team members mostly on Slack and Zoom, not forgetting the client and doctor video calls we will expect you to hold.



This opportunity attracts the following depending on the skillsets the right person brings to our company:

  • An indicative annual full time salary (5 days a week) will range from: £35,000 – £48,000
  • Therefore for 3 days a week, the annual salary will range from £21,000 – £28,800

Salaries will initially be offered on a self-employed basis (e.g. sole trader or through a limited company)

Other bonuses include:

  • Commissions on client sales work
  • Potential for company options after 18 months of working with us
  • Coaching and mentoring from our Founder
  • Unlimited holidays

Over the years we’ve welcomed team members at various stages of their lives from the first few years after graduating, to having babies or children warmly interrupting some of our team meetings, and beyond (!)

Our Founder is herself a mother of a very active 19 month old girl, which she balances alongside running Medic Footprints and continuing to practice as an Occupational Health Consultant.
