Cerner’s Population Health Practice is a new exciting part of our organisation transforming the way care is managed and delivered, using technology to underpin the management of population health across geographies. The Population Health Europe team offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative fast-paced unit with all the rewards and challenges that a start-up opportunity brings.

As the Clinical Consultant (CC) you will partner with client clinical, non-clinical and operational stakeholders to support design of solutions and workflows, creating the climate for adoption of new ways of working. You will ensure the agreed benefits/value are delivered, and clinical safety processes are robust and complete.

You will partner with Cerner client health, care, and business stakeholders forming trusting relationships to understand their challenges and opportunities and to meet their needs in relation to patient/client and business outcomes.

You will deliver key elements of the client population health strategies, provide clinical guidance and expertise to clients and internal project teams and provide clinical assurance through product lifecycle – design, testing and clinical issue resolution. You will also consult and collaborate with clients to design clinical workflows advising on best practice in line with national directives.

As a Clinical Consultant you will facilitate the analysis of current state, future state, and gap analysis and support clients with defining their value measurement plan and also lead client meetings and facilitate discussions around health and care alignment and adoption of new workflows enabled by Cerner products Work with the Performance Improvement team to create the detailed improvement charter activities.

The CC supports the engagement management team in ensuring project deliverables and timelines are met in order to deliver value to the client as committed and leads client meetings and facilitates discussions around clinical alignment and adoption of new workflows enabled by Cerner products.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Health Care or Clinical Studies
  • Health care information technology (HCIT) project management, sales or consulting work experience work experience
  • Change management or Performance improvement qualifications (Six sigma/lean etc.)
  • People management work experience
  • Work experience in UK health and social care (hospitals, regulators, community, social, mental health or primary care).

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
