Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare Business Development Manager to develop and implement go to market strategy for International Ambulatory and Social Care providers, ensuring successful implementation of the International Healthcare Initiative across the Public Sector Sales team.

About The Team

You will be part of the AWS International Public Sector Health Team that serves healthcare customers around the world. You will work closely with the international healthcare field teams and country leaders, as well as cross-functionally with AWS US Health, Healthcare Industry and Commercial Sector teams to accelerate growth of the Healthcare business. You will develop and execute the strategy to bring AWS healthcare capabilities to existing and new AWS customers who work in Ambulatory and Social Care (including Primary Care, Pharmacy & Dental, depending on market). You will work with AWS Partners (e.g. system integrators, solution providers) to bring the best solutions to the end customers and act as a trusted advisor to health systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant business or technical leadership, product management, business development, program or project management, and/or operations experience in and around information technologies
  • 8+ years of relevant experience to healthcare, in particular ambulatory and social care.
  • 3 + years’ direct field experience in working with global enterprise accounts.
  • 3+ years’ experience with healthcare regulatory considerations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a health or business related field (e.g. Masters of Public Health, MBA,etc)
  • Experience working in or with healthcare providers and or payers
  • Demonstrated interest in the healthcare industry – good understanding of how the healthcare industry (both provider and payer) operates and the unique characteristics of the industry ecosystem
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Experience working in a matrix structure.
  • In addition to English, fluency in other languages (e.g. French, Arabic, Portuguese, Germany)
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, executive management, and other stakeholders through positive interaction and problem identification and resolution
  • Track record in supporting critical business deals
  • Ability to create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Experience maintaining a robust projects pipeline.
  • Ability to work with partners to extend reach & promote adoption.
  • Contribute to positive customer experience.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
