Management of the multimorbid General Medical patient demands a broad knowledge across disciplines. As such, the objective of the UK GIM conference is to offer up-to-date, relevant topics with the latest guidance and the evidence underpinning it. This conference has been set up to provide a series of interesting and highly relevant clinical lectures for all involved in General Medicine, and non-clinical lectures on topics such as risk management, medicolegal considerations, service redesign, optimising private practice, and personal performance.
Speakers are chosen for their entertaining delivery and status as experts in their field. Lecture content is proactively vetted by practising doctors. Content is multi-stream with four theatres running concurrently, and lectures are repeated to allow delegates to build their own bespoke CPD experience. There is a bustling networking area and a fantastic programme of smaller workshops and practical training stations. The evening between days one and two features a programme of sporting and social events, and delegates have the opportunity to submit poster presentations for publication.
