It’s high time the benefits of meditation were brought to the medical profession. For all of its rewards, being a doctor is persistently stressful and demanding, both physically and psychologically. It is no secret or surprise that the profession suffers from one of the highest rates of suicide and anxiety.
Meditation teaches us how our minds work. Through the practice of very simple tools it is possible to find peace and clarity, no matter what life throws at us.
In this introductory session, we will be covering the basics – why meditation is beneficial, followed by the technique itself.
This session will be relevant to any medical professional and will suit any level of prior meditation experience.
