What impact will you make? The Opportunity
The Deloitte, Centre for Health Solutions, established in late 2011, is the research arm of Deloitte North West
Europe’s life sciences and healthcare (LSHC) practices. The Centre generates insights and thought leadership of
LSHC industry trends, challenges and opportunities; with the objective of improving health outcomes.
We use primary and secondary research and rigorous analysis to drive unique perspectives, to ensure that the Centre is seen as a trusted source for relevant, timely, and reliable insights. Our aim is to develop ideas, innovations and insights that encourage collaboration and examine key issues from the perspectives of all key stakeholders in the health ecosystem – both public and private – including healthcare providers and payers; pharma, medtech and
Health IT companies; patients and carers.
By joining the Centre for Health Solutions and becoming a source of advice and support to our LSHC teams, you can expect to develop your reputation as a subject matter expert and strategic thinker on strategic health care issues. You will also become part of a dedicated, client-focused team that has strong links to Deloitte’s core business areas, frequent access to senior clients and partners within the Firm, and a reputation for market-
making analysis and research products.
The role is as a research manager, reporting to the Head of the Centre for Health Solutions.
London but with a fair amount of travel across Europe and especially North West Europe.
It is a permanent full time contract with the potential for flexible working.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
develop and deliver major, high-impact, distinctive research, analysis and insight as part of the Centre’s
contribute to the delivery of the Centre’s key performance indicators as agreed with the industry leads
manage the performance of the research analysts and other support provided to the Centre, helping to create
a strong, effective team
prepare and present commercially compelling materials (Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel
spreadsheets) to Partners on key trends, issues and insights, key activities and strategies at major accounts
and in sectors relevant to healthcare and life sciences
adapt global research/thought leadership content for individual clients and the industry group
form a strong internal network of healthcare and life science practitioners across Deloitte member firms to
collaborate on research, and share insights and best practices
build and develop external relationships across the healthcare and life sciences industry.
The preferred candidate will have a degree with an emphasis on technical, analytical and/or problem-
solving skills together with a Masters or higher (or equivalent professional qualification)
The preferred candidate will have experience in research and analysis and in producing hard hitting
reports and publications and ideally be fluent in English and at least one other European language.
We are seeking an individual with a strong background in either healthcare or life sciences or both.
