Army Medical Career Options
If you’re currently studying towards becoming a doctor, then you could be eligible for a bursary from the British Army’s Army Medical Services (AMS). This includes annual lump sums of £10,000 per annum for up to three years before you graduate.
Then, once you’ve passed Phase 1 training, you’ll receive a further one-off payment of £45,000.
Following medical school, you’ll undertake MoD provided foundation employment through FY1 and FY2 – starting on a salary of over £41,113, and moving on to £54,311 in FY2.
